Spend a creative and meditative day before the holiday chaos begins!
Open to beginners and those with a bit of experience, this festive and fun class has it all: new skills, holiday vibes, pompoms, and all supplies included. Come for a day of warm, festive creativity and self-care! The beautiful tree skirt you’ll make will become a touchstone decor piece that your family will come back to, year after year.
In this full-day class, you will learn:
Machine Sewing Skills
Working with a Circles and Curves
Hand Quilting & Hand Sewing Techniques
Applying a Trim
Food & Beverage - Lunch and beverages are catered so that you can relax, enjoy, and focus on YOU. Feel free to bring small snacks for the in-between times if you like.
Supplies - All supplies are included in this class!
Tools - Pins, scissors, tape measures, irons, seam rippers, etc will all be at the venue ready for you to use. No need to bring your own.
Sewing Machines - If you have one, bring it! It's best to learn on the machine you'll continue to use. If you don't have one, simply indicate at checkout that you'll need to borrow a CSS machine (limited supply).
Vibe: Your instructor is a skilled, experienced, warm and wacky lady who loves people and sewing. The teaching is intuitive and casual, and you will be amazed how much you can learn in a short time. The environment is fun and inclusive, with people of every kind being welcome.
Schedule: 9am - 3:30pm. Carve out a soul-filling day away from your regular life on a one-off basis. One and done… until you come back for another! Everyone works at their own pace, and this determines how many projects you make.
