In this fun, hands-on class you’ll learn essential skills you can use in any future project. Come as a beginner (or to refresh the basics), connect with great people, and leave with 1–2 projects you’ve proudly made yourself.

Food & Beverage - Lunch and beverages are catered so that you can relax, enjoy, and focus on YOU. Feel free to bring small snacks for the in-between times if you like.
Tools - Pins, scissors, tape measures, irons, seam rippers, etc will all be at the venue ready for you to use. No need to bring your own.
Sewing Machines - If you have one, bring it! It's best to learn on the machine you'll continue to use. If you don't have one, simply indicate at checkout that you'll need to borrow a CSS machine ($10 charge at checkout).
Vibe: Your instructor is a skilled, experienced, warm and welcoming lady who loves people and sewing. The teaching is intuitive and casual, and you will be amazed how much you can learn in a short time. The environment is fun and inclusive, with people of every kind being welcome.
Schedule: 9am - 3:30pm.

You will need to purchase the following to bring to class:
0.8 metre each of 2 coordinating woven (non-stretchy) fabrics of medium weight - quilting cotton works great and fabric stores have hundreds of design choices!
Coordinating all-purpose polyester thread - 1 spool
1 non-separating zipper in a coordinating colour, at least
8-inch/20.5cm long.
Can’t/don't want to get to the fabric store? At checkout, select "ALL SUPPLIES INCLUDED" to have everything brought to class for you for an extra charge.
